Real-World Assessment: Become part of a school where students are given unique, challenging assignments driven by student/teacher collaboration and are then individually assessed through student exhibitions and teacher narratives.  Empower Yourself as a Teacher: Met teachers are the center of important school decisions, and have many opportunities to develop their skills through monthly professional development workshops.  Advisory Bonding: Met teachers create personal bonds with their students, stay with them for all four years of high school, and teach as generalists covering a wide range of subjects. Create Meaning: The Met is part of a national movement for social justice through education reform. Over 30 Met-inspired schools have opened in the United States and more will open in coming years.  Hero: Met advisors are largely responsible for all of our graduates being accepted to college, most of whom are first-generation college goers.
